My name is Wan Safri Syamsudin, or commonly called BWS, stands for Bang Wan Safri. I was born on June 3, 1987 in Sedanau, Bunguran Barat, Natuna, Riau Islands. I grew up in a very humble and struggling environment - a background that has shaped my outlook on life to this day.

A Childhood Full of Struggles

From the age of three, I lived with Atok me, Tokesn, at Seluan Island. My parents were separated, and due to difficult economic conditions, my mother, the deceased, took over the family. Partini, had to migrate to Tanjung Pinang and Batamwhile my father, the late Wan Muhammad Isa (Encek), lives in Sedanau.

I was exposed to hard work from an early age. At the age of six, I was already helping my grandfather go to sea. If there was no catch, we ate chopped sweet potato mixed with plain rice. My education was not easy. I went to school in SDN Seluan, and thanks to the kindness of the principal, the late Wan KasimI was able to continue going to school despite often not being able to pay.

I continued my education to MTs Sedanau, Darul Falah Islamic Boarding School, and then Hang Tuah High School Bengkong Polisi, Batam. My education is a struggle - it's not just about knowledge, but about survival.

From Ojek to International Business

After high school, I tried various jobs: from convenience store employee, motorcycle taxi driver, up to ship welder in Tanjung Uncang. I have also opened Internet cafe and airplane ticket agent. But the turning point of my life came when I joined the company international forex brokers. That's where I started my career as a marketing, trader, up to investor.

With experience and hard work, I built a stable financial foundation. But in my heart, there was always a longing to go home and give meaning to my hometown.

Back to the Village, Help the Village

I believe that true success is not just about personal achievement, but about how much we benefit others.. That's why I returned to Natuna and launched the "Balik Kampung, Bantu Kampung" - a social program that focuses on helping the underprivileged.

Through this program, I:

  • Share groceries and cash assistance,
  • Repairing people's houses,
  • Open up employment opportunities,
  • Established Natuna Pulau Tujuh Foundation,
  • Established pharmacies in Sedanau Island,
  • Initiate BWSCUP, youth sports tournaments,
  • And form an organization Natuna Youth Movement (GPN) as a forum for youth mutual cooperation.

I also actively encourage social programs such as nutritious food for Sedanau children and support various religious and educational activities in remote areas of Natuna.

My Commitment

I don't want to stop here. I want to expand the assistance program to fishermanThis includes the provision of fishing gear, mariculture, and village infrastructure improvement. I want my village to be stronger, more independent, and more advanced.

I realize that I am a nobody. But I believe, with sincere intention, hard work, and love of hometownwe can make a real difference.
