On August 24, 2025, I (BWS) had the opportunity to visit Sebala Village, Batu Gajah Village - Ranai. The main purpose of this visit was to visit and provide compensation to Mr. Abdul Rahman, a community leader who used to serve as a mosque imam in Sebala Village.

He has had a stroke for seven years and can no longer walk. This condition is certainly a tough test, both for him and his family who faithfully accompany him every day. On this occasion, I (BWS) provided assistance in the form of food packages and some cash. This assistance is not much in value, but I hope that it can slightly ease the burden of daily needs and be an encouragement for his family to remain strong in facing trials.

In addition to visiting Mr. Abdul Rahman, I (BWS) also met with another resident who has been suffering from a mild stroke for almost three years. Although his condition is not as severe as Mr. Abdul Rahman, he also needs support and attention. For this reason, I also provided cash compensation as a form of concern and encouragement to keep up the spirit of daily life.
This visit was a reminder for me (BWS) personally that social awareness is an important part of life. What I did was just a small step, but hopefully it can inspire the wider community to help each other, especially the village elders and religious leaders who have contributed a lot in the past.
I (BWS) believe that the value of friendship and togetherness is the greatest strength in building a community that cares and supports each other. May Mr. Abdul Rahman and other residents who are sick always be given strength, patience, and health by Allah SWT.
