BWS Provides Compensation for 40 Orphans in Natuna Ahead of Eid al-Adha 2025
Natuna, Riau Islands - In the spirit of caring for Eid al-Adha 2025, Natuna's young leaders, Bang Wan Safri or who is familiarly called BWS, again showed its social action by providing compensation to 40 orphans from various regions in Natuna. The event was held at Azzikra Mosque courtyard, Sedanau, at Sunday (01/06/2025) ba'da Dzuhur.
The orphans who attended came from a number of areas such as Seluan Island, Ranai, and Sedanau. Each child receives compensation of Rp500,000, and gifts in the form of notebooks, stationery, and other learning supplies. In addition to the distribution of compensation, the event was also filled with shared meal activities which creates an atmosphere of family and happiness.
In his speech, BWS revealed that this activity was carried out because orphans generally only receive assistance when they are in need. Eid al-Fitr, while at the moment Eid al-AdhaHowever, attention to them is often overlooked.
"Usually they only get compensation during Eid al-Fitr. Therefore, before Eid al-Adha, I want to share, so that they can also feel the attention and happiness." BWS said.
This activity is a tangible proof of BWS's commitment in caring for the welfare of orphans in his hometown. As a social activist and founder of various community movements in Natuna, BWS continues to actively encourage the spirit of mutual cooperation and social care, especially for the younger generation.
