Cemaga Tengah, Bunguran Selatan Sub-district, Ranai - Natuna, August 25, 2025 - In the midst of the simple life of a small house in Cemaga Tengah Village, Bunguran Selatan Sub-district, I (BWS) together with colleagues from Natuna Youth Movement (GPN) received news of a family living in poor conditions.

The house is inhabited by four people: one child with a condition People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ)There are two elderly people, as well as an adult who is the backbone of the family. One of the grandmothers is no longer able to walk and can only sit or lie down in the house. The other elderly has leg pain that makes it difficult to move, but still tries to support the family by being accompanied by his son who works as a fisherman.

To supplement her income, she also makes simple cakes that she sells to local residents. From this small business, the family survives to fulfill their daily needs.
The house they live in is very simple, far from decent. However, behind the simplicity, there is an extraordinary spirit and fortitude. In such poor conditions, they still strengthen each other.

During my visit, I (BWS) brought a little help in the form of basic necessities and compensation. Although it is not much, I hope that this small assistance can slightly ease the burden on their lives. This visit is also part of the "Balek Kampung, Bantu Kampung"This is a social movement that I initiated to provide tangible benefits to the people of Natuna, especially those who need a helping hand.
After that, my trip (BWS) with the GPN team continued to the house of a man who was paralyzed in the Cemaga area as well. I will tell you his story in the next article.
